Taveuni Island Resort is located on the island of Taveuni in Northern Fiji. Fiji Link operates daily flights from Nadi (and Suva) on the main island to Taveuni. It’s only a short drive from Matai Airport on Taveuni to the resort (2km).

Taveuni Island Resort has 7 beautifully appointed bures, accommodating just 24 guests at one given time. There is 1 Luxury Oceanfront Matalau Villa, 1 Luxury Ocean Front Villa and 1 Ocean View Villas and 4 Garden Villa or Pool view. All villas are incredibly romantic and perfect for honeymooners or couples wishing to celebrate a special occasion or enjoy a romantic interlude.
The Grande Matalau Villa:
The Luxury Oceanfront Honeymoon Villa is situated on one side of the property with a panoramic view of the ocean. It has: A huge lounge flowing onto a spacious covered deck (lanai) with a gorgeous plunge pool overlooking the ocean. Two private en-suite bedrooms with king beds, large outdoor courtyard showers and indoor showers with unlimited hot water, beautiful imported fine white linen, air-conditioning, fans or natural airflow. Comfortable luxurious indoor and outdoor furniture.Its own chef,waiter/waitress and housemaid. The ultimate in pampering!
Luxury OceanFront Villa:

These Luxury Honeymoon Bures have spectacular uninterrupted views of the Ocean and the surrounding islands in the Somosomo Straits.
The bures are spacious and beautifully appointed. They have a lounge area with a day- bed, coffee and tea facilities and comfortable furniture, the bedroom have king bed, indoor as well as a private outdoor courtyard shower’s and a huge covered deck in front of both the lounge and bedroom.
Luxury Oceanview Villa:
Lomalagi - set in lush colourful tropical gardens and enjoy ocean views, they are beautifully appointed and have a separate spacious lounge and bedroom area on a split level, indoor and private outdoor courtyard shower, and a huge covered deck. (lanai).
Luxury Garden Villa / Pool View
Nokonoko, Balabala , Niusawa and Vaivai set amongst colorful lush tropical gardens with minimal views of the ocean, on split level with separate bedroom and lounge area, indoor and private outdoor courtyard shower and a huge covered deck (lanai).
ALL bures have king sizes beds, comfortable indoor and outdoor furniture, large covered decks (lanai), air conditioning, fans or natural air flow, unlimited hot water, imported linen, mini bars, hair driers, tea and coffee facilities and fresh baked cookies daily.

Taveuni Island Resort is proud to have its own organic farm and garden for our farm to table creations featuring freshly picked herbs, organic vegetables and tropical fruits as well as free range meats. Dine in the beautiful open air restaurant with expansive views or you have the option to reserve the private dining bure nestled on the hillside looking out over the ocean.

Being the third largest island in Fiji, it is 37 miles long, 7 miles wide and rises 4000 feet above the ocean and plunges to depths nearly 4000 feet.
